Hi, Mouse here. Sorry it's been awhile. There hasn't been much happening until recently. I've re-read my last draft on my book and have been revising it. Game boy read it too and had plenty to say. I know most people would think that it's not a good idea to have a spouse look at your work, yet I do value his opinion and he has read quite a few books on the genre. I'm optimistic over the new draft I'm creating. I feel confident that eventually I will be able to publish it. Now if only I can keep from being distracted from a new member of the family...
Last Sunday we adopted a dog. It's been only a couple a days, but it's been a doozy. He's a three year old mix. I believe he might be a Rat Terrier and Pit Bull mix. Not sure. He's about 40 pounds, so there's a possibility that he might not grow much. We named him Clovis. He needs discipline, which we have been working on tirelessly. Yet, he's a sweetheart. He likes putting his paw on our legs and licking our faces. Hopefully we can get to that point where he is trained.
So far, I have not gotten that government job yet. I'm still waiting for the next step. In the meantime, I have plenty of time to give Clovis the attention he needs. Until next time.
